Terms of Service — BiteKaro

1. Acceptance of Terms

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully. By downloading, accessing, or using the BiteKaro mobile application ("the Application" or "Service"), operated and published by MyWorkflow ("us", "we", or "our"), You agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If You do not agree to these Terms, You must not install or use BiteKaro.

2. License and Acceptable Use

We grant You a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use BiteKaro on your compatible Android device for personal, non-commercial dietary tracking, meal planning, and culinary guidance, subject to these Terms and Google Play Store policies.

You agree NOT to:

Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code or proprietary nutritional formulas of the Application.
•
Scrape, harvest, or bulk-export curated recipes, nutritional databases, or meal planning algorithms for commercial distribution.
•
Circumvent, tamper with, or manipulate any in-app advertising mechanisms.
•
Use the Application for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.

3. Medical & Nutritional Disclaimer (Not Medical Advice)

BiteKaro is developed strictly as a general wellness, nutrition, and meal planning organizational companion:

Not a Medical Device: BiteKaro is not a certified medical device and does not diagnose, treat, prevent, cure, or manage any medical disease or acute clinical condition.
•
No Clinical Nutrition Therapy: Nutritional content, caloric calculations, macronutrient recommendations (protein, carbs, fats), and health condition tags are mathematical estimations derived from standard food composition tables. They do not constitute individualized medical nutrition therapy or clinical healthcare advice.
•
Mandatory Healthcare Consultation: If You have diabetes, kidney disease, hypertension, cardiovascular conditions, gastrointestinal disorders, eating disorders, or are pregnant or nursing, You must consult a qualified physician or registered dietitian before adopting any diet or meal plan generated by the Application.

4. Food Allergen & Dietary Sensitivity Responsibility

While BiteKaro provides automated allergen detection chips and condition warnings across recipes, ingredient formulations and commercial food preparation environments vary:

User Verification Responsibility: You are solely and completely responsible for verifying physical product packaging, ingredient lists, cross-contamination warnings, and manufacturer certifications for any personal food allergies, sensitivities, or intolerances before purchasing, preparing, or consuming any food.

Disclaimer of Allergen Liability: MyWorkflow expressly disclaims all liability for allergic reactions, adverse food reactions, food poisoning, or culinary incidents resulting from recipes or meal suggestions provided in the Application.

5. Local-First Data Storage & User Custody

BiteKaro operates on a Privacy-First, Local-First architecture. All personal profile metrics, weight tracking history, dietary preferences, and custom recipes are stored on your device using hardware-backed encrypted secure storage (Android Keystore):

No Cloud Records: Because MyWorkflow does not maintain cloud database servers with your personal profile, You maintain custody over your records.
•
One-Tap Data Destruction: You may completely delete all stored profile data, preferences, and cached recipe information at any time via Settings -> Data & Privacy Controls -> Reset Profile & Delete All Data.

6. Advertising & Free Service Tier

BiteKaro is provided free of charge, supported by standard in-app advertisements delivered via Google AdMob in compliance with Google Play Developer Policies. No health, dietary, or personal profile data is shared with advertisers.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

The Application, including its recipe curation, meal planning algorithms, interactive cooking modes, graphics, UI design, trademarks, and brand identity ("BiteKaro", "MyWorkflow"), is the exclusive intellectual property of MyWorkflow and its licensors. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

The Application is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MyWorkflow, its developers, and contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Application, including nutritional calculation variations, culinary mishaps, or device performance issues.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or BiteKaro shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to revise or replace these Terms at any time to reflect software updates or legal requirements. Updated terms will be published on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of BiteKaro constitutes agreement to the updated Terms.
