MoneyMapr is built with a Local-First, Privacy-Focused philosophy.

Application (or Service) means MoneyMapr (package name: `in.co.myworkflow.moneymapr`), the visual personal finance manager for Android provided by MyWorkflow.

Personal Financial Data refers to accounts, balances, income records, expenses, budgets, savings goals, recurring rules, and financial notes entered into the Application.

Device or Other IDs refers to unique anonymous identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID / AAID and Firebase App Instance ID).

Usage & Diagnostic Data refers to anonymized telemetry collected automatically by third-party SDK infrastructure (such as crash stack traces and ad impressions).

You means the individual accessing or using the Application.

3. Local-First Architecture & On-Device Storage

MoneyMapr operates on a local-first design where your transaction records and accounts are managed on your device:

No Mandatory User Accounts: MoneyMapr does not require registration, login, phone number, or cloud sign-in. You can use the app immediately without creating an account.

Local SQLite Storage: All transactions, accounts, category budgets, visual money flow connections, savings goals, and scheduled recurring entries are stored on your device in an isolated local database (`moneymapr.db`).
•
Privacy-Focused Design: Your entered financial records, transaction amounts, and account balances remain stored locally on your device storage.

4. Device Permissions & Offline Features

MoneyMapr requests minimal device permissions strictly necessary for its local functionality:

Offline Backups & Storage: When you export or restore a backup file, the app uses system file picker dialogs to read/write JSON backup files to your chosen local or external storage path.

Local Notifications: MoneyMapr utilizes local system alarms for optional daily engagement reminders to help you log your daily financial transactions. No external push notification service or remote server is utilized for these reminders.

5. Third-Party Services (Advertising & Diagnostics)

MoneyMapr integrates trusted, industry-standard third-party Software Development Kits (SDKs) to facilitate free app access, consent management, and application stability:

Google AdMob & Google UMP (Google LLC): MoneyMapr is free to download and use, supported by non-intrusive banner and interstitial advertisements. AdMob may process your device advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID) and coarse IP-derived location to deliver ads and prevent invalid traffic. We implement Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to obtain explicit consent for users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom (UK), and Switzerland.
•
Firebase Crashlytics & Analytics (Google LLC): Collects anonymized, aggregated crash reports, app stability metrics, and device hardware specifications to help us diagnose bugs and optimize performance across Android devices.

Firebase Remote Config (Google LLC): Fetches non-personalized dynamic parameters (such as feature flags and fallback announcements) upon launch.

MoneyMapr is a general audience utility intended for personal budgeting and finance organization. It does not knowingly collect, request, or solicit personal data from children under the age of 13. If you believe any personal data has been inadvertently processed, please contact us immediately for prompt remediation.

7. User Data Rights, Consent & Full Data Deletion

You maintain control over your data and privacy choices:

Complete Local Data Erasure: Because your financial records are stored on your device, you can completely and permanently delete all accounts, transactions, budgets, and goals at any time by selecting "Clear All Data" in the app settings, or by clearing storage via Android device settings (Settings -> Apps -> MoneyMapr -> Storage -> Clear Data).

Ad Consent Management: Users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland can update or revoke advertising consent preferences anytime via Settings -> Privacy & Ad Preferences.

Advertising ID Opt-Out: You can reset or delete your advertising identifier at any time via Android device settings (Settings -> Privacy -> Ads -> Reset/Delete Advertising ID).
