This Privacy Policy describes the policies and procedures of PDF Universe ("the Application", "We", "Us", or "Our") on the collection, use, and disclosure of information when You use the Application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with applicable data protection laws including GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act), and Google Play User Data Policies.

By using the Application, You agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

The words with initial capital letters have meanings defined below. These definitions apply regardless of whether they appear in singular or plural form.

Application: PDF Universe, the software program provided by MyWorkflow.

Company (referred to as "We", "Us", or "Our"): MyWorkflow, India.

Device: Any device that can access the Application (computer, phone, tablet).

Personal Data: Any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual.

Service: The Application and all its features.

Usage Data: Data collected automatically from the use of the Service.

You: The individual or entity accessing or using the Application.

PDF Universe does not collect, store, or transmit any of your PDF files, documents, scanned images, or personal files to our servers. All PDF processing — merging, splitting, compressing, rotating, watermarking, editing, page numbering, blank page removal, redaction, comparison, digital signing, image conversion, form filling, flattening, metadata editing, page organization, HTML to PDF conversion, and camera document scanning — is performed entirely on your device (locally).

HTML to PDF & Web Conversions: Converting raw HTML code or local HTML files executes 100% locally on your device sandbox using the native print engine. When converting a public Web URL, network access is used solely to fetch the user-specified webpage directly to render the document on your device. We do not store, intercept, log, or transmit your URL queries, rendered webpage content, or converted documents to any server.

Camera Permission & Document Scanning: Camera access is used exclusively on your device in real-time to scan physical documents into PDF format. Camera frames and scanned documents are stored strictly in your local device storage and are NEVER transmitted to any external server.

Home Screen Widgets: PDF Universe provides optional Home Screen Widgets (such as the Scan PDF quick launch shortcut). Widgets operate entirely locally on your launcher to launch tools directly, without running background tracking or collecting user location or activity.

Usage Data & Diagnostics: We use Firebase Analytics & Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC) to collect anonymized usage metrics (e.g., feature usage frequency, session duration) and diagnostic crash stack traces. This data is used solely to maintain application stability, resolve technical issues, and optimize user experience.

Advertising Data & Consent: We use Google AdMob to display advertisements in the free version. AdMob may collect your device advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID) and coarse location (derived from IP address) to serve contextually relevant ads and prevent click fraud. We utilize Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to gather explicit consent for users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom (UK).

In-App Purchase Data: If you subscribe to PDF Universe Pro (via Google Play Billing), transaction records are processed and managed securely by Google Play. We do not collect, process, or store your payment card details or billing credentials.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party.

PDF Universe is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us immediately at support@myworkflow.co.in so we can take prompt corrective action.

We implement industry-standard security practices to safeguard data processed by the Application. Because document operations execute locally on your device sandbox, your documents remain private to your device. Any diagnostic or analytics data transmitted to Firebase or Google services is encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS).

While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, no method of electronic storage or internet transmission is 100% secure.

Depending on your geographic location, you possess specific data protection rights:

GDPR (European Economic Area & UK Users): You have the right to access, rectify, or erase your data, restrict or object to processing, and data portability. You can manage or revoke your advertising consent choices at any time directly within the app by navigating to Settings -> Legal -> Privacy & Consent Preferences.

CCPA / US State Privacy Laws (California & other US users): You have the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion of personal information, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data (we do not sell your personal data).

Ad Tracking Controls: You can reset or delete your Android Advertising ID at any time via your device settings (Settings -> Privacy -> Ads).
