Terms of Service — PDF Universe

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the PDF Universe mobile application ("the Application" or "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Application.

These Terms apply to all users of the Application accessing via Android (Google Play Store).

2. License and Acceptable Use

MyWorkflow grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use PDF Universe on your personal device(s) for personal and commercial productivity purposes, strictly in accordance with these Terms and Google Play Store policies.

You agree not to:

Copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Application

•

Use automated tools or scripts to circumvent in-app purchase mechanisms or advertising systems

•

Use the Application for any unlawful purpose

•

Use the Application to process, convert, or distribute files or web content you do not have the legal rights or authorization to handle

3. Document Processing, Web Conversions & Your Files

PDF Universe processes all your PDF files, HTML documents, converted web pages, and scanned documents locally on your device sandbox. Your files and converted documents are never uploaded to, stored on, or transmitted to our servers.

You are solely responsible for the files, HTML code, URLs, and content you process using the Application. By using the Service, you warrant that:

You have the legal right and authorization to view, edit, modify, sign, convert, or organize any files, HTML code, or Web URLs you load into the Application

•

When utilizing the HTML to PDF tool to fetch and convert web pages, you warrant that you have lawful rights and permissions to access, capture, and convert the target web content for personal or legitimate use

•

You will not use the Application to infringe upon any copyright, trademark, intellectual property, privacy, or proprietary rights

•

You will not use the Application to generate, store, process, or distribute illegal content

4. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

PDF Universe Pro is available as a subscription via Google Play Billing.

Subscription Terms:

•

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the renewal date

•

Payment is charged directly to your Google Play account upon confirmation of purchase

•

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play Store Account Settings -> Subscriptions

•

If a free trial is offered, you will not be charged during the trial period. Cancel prior to trial expiration to avoid recurring charges.

Refund Policy: All purchases and refund requests are governed by Google Play Store policies. We do not directly handle payment information or refund transactions.

Restore Purchases: If you reinstall the Application or switch devices, use the "Restore Purchases" button in the app settings to restore your active subscription.

5. Advertising & GDPR Consent

The free version of PDF Universe displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. By using the free tier, you acknowledge and agree to the display of advertisements.

PDF Universe Pro active subscribers enjoy a completely ad-free experience.

We comply with international advertising privacy standards, including Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent protocols for users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom (UK). You can modify your consent preferences at any time in the app settings under Privacy & Consent Preferences.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain 100% ownership and intellectual property rights over all PDF files, documents, and scanned pages you process using the Application. We claim no ownership over your content.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Application is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

We do not warrant that:

The Application will be uninterrupted, timely, or entirely error-free

•

Document processing or conversion output will meet all specific formatting requirements in every edge case

•

The Application will be compatible with every device configuration or operating system version

You use the Application at your own discretion. We recommend maintaining backups of important documents prior to running destructive file modifications.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MyWorkflow, its developers, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, file corruption, or business interruption arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Application if you breach these Terms or engage in activities that compromise the integrity or security of the Service.

Upon termination, your right to use the Application will immediately cease. Termination does not entitle you to refunds for subscription periods already elapsed.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time to accommodate new features, policy changes, or legal requirements. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.

Continued use of the Application after revisions are published constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
